PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
I like to describe my photographic style as authentic, clean, and most importantly, timeless. Photographs are handed down from generation to generation, therefore I want my clients to have clean, beautiful photos without trendy looks and filters. Every photo you receive has been viewed and hand-edited to ensure any crazy hairs or random acne doesn’t make its way into your final gallery. My goal is that your photos stand the test of time and remain just as genuine and beautiful as the moments that they were captured.


MY APPROACH
In my approach to wedding photography, I don't just rely on my 20 years of experience behind the lens; I bring a wealth of life experiences. From walking down the aisle myself to becoming a parent, facing the loss of loved ones, and most recently watching my own daughter marry the love of her life. It is this personal journey that shapes how I see things through my camera. I don't just capture moments; I feel them. I know what it's like to stand in those shoes, to feel those emotions. That's why my photos are more than just pictures – they're genuine, heartfelt snapshots of real life and love.

Additionally, I have a client-first approach. This is YOUR once in a lifetime day and I will do everything in my power to ensure that your day runs as beautifully and as smoothly as possible. Prior to, and on the day of your wedding I will be your photographer, personal assistant, best friend, your support, your protector, your voice, and your biggest hype-girl. You can trust that I will handle any and all issues that may arise and will manage the schedule so that you get everything you want out of the day. Leave the logistics to me. I will not allow your day to become stressful, chaotic, or to pull you away from feeling all of the love, joy and emotions of the event. Weddings should be all about celebration and love which is why I promise to help take the weight off of your shoulders. My ultimate goal for your day is that it feels all about you and that you are able to relax, have fun, soak up and genuinely enjoy all of the special moments with all of your special people. 


MY PERSONALITY
My personality is thoughtful, sentimental, attentive, bubbly/outgoing and personable! Naturally, I have a big personality and an even bigger heart and I believe this is what makes me great at this craft.
I recognize that posing for photos can sometimes be daunting and a little awkward, so I help remove all of the seriousness from it so we can just let loose, have fun and celebrate your love! On the day of your wedding, I promise to bring my energy with me and use it to help you feel comfortable and playful! Providing a light-hearted, fun environment allows me to capture the authenticity of the day and  the beautiful, candid moments. I also am not afraid to direct crowds and speak up for you whenever it is necessary. I will take care of business to ensure your day runs smoothly and everything unfolds the way YOU want it to. We march to the beat of your drum on your day.

As previously mentioned, I am also a sentimental person and I use that to my advantage in this industry by capturing the little, intimate moments with loved ones throughout the day. I will capture those moments that will make you say "Awwwwww". I pay close attention to the details, your feelings and emotions throughout the day and promise to be as attentive as possible. I am organized and punctual where I need to be, and flexible when the day calls for change. Prior to your wedding day we will have already established a timeline together and I will utilize this to make sure we stay on track throughout the day. However, with the chaos that is a wedding, things can change and we allow for some flexibility where necessary (this is why I do not have a time limit attached to my services).

I only offer ALL DAY COVERAGE. Why? Because I believe that if you hire someone to photograph your wedding day, then that is what you should get -- someone to photograph your entire wedding day! You should NEVER have to worry about the clock running out or have to sacrifice  capturing the memories of your cocktail hour or reception.

I work for you and the reason I prefer all day coverage is because I believe that is what is best for you. After 20 years and over 500 weddings, I know the one thing that makes a wedding day stressful is a time crunch. Together, we develop a timeline that flows nicely and leaves some wiggle room for the unexpected things that often happen on a wedding day that can throw off a timeline (hair and makeup running late, missing rings, tuxes, etc.) Also, to create the beautiful portraits like you see throughout this website, we need to allow time for it. On most wedding days I am also working with other vendors such as videographers. I want to ensure we all get the time we need to create the things that are important to you.

Another consideration is, what gets cut out of a 6, 8, or 10-hour package? I can tell you... it's a lot! For instance, I allow my couples and their families to create their own list of family formals. Most photographers do not and give each side about 15 minutes of basic formals to fit it all in a certain number of hours. To me, relationships matter, these are some of the most important images in your gallery as time is precious and unfortunately, we do not get to keep everyone forever. You deserve to get the images you want. 
Overall, my goal for your day is a stress-free, fun, relaxed day, and while you are making memories with the people you love most in the world. I want to be there to capture it all! Furthermore, I want to have what YOU want for your day, not a pre-designed package made to incentivize you to spend more. With my pricing structure, you get what YOU want and need.

I generally deliver anywhere from 700-1200 images depending on the day. The number of images delivered depends upon a couple of factors: If you opted for a second photographer and are doing a first look, more images will be delivered as more images were captured. If you opted out of those, less images will be delivered for the mere fact that less images were taken! You will receive all color images and some of those I will duplicate and edit black and white.
I provide FULL DAY COVERAGE and do not have a time limit. Your day is important to me and I want to be around to capture all of the magic of your special day. Because I stay all  day, you will receive all of the edited images of that day at no additional cost. 

While I can and do shoot weddings solo, a second photographer allows for more coverage since one person can't be everywhere at one time. Typically, they do detail photos, the groom getting ready, provide the opposite angle on the first look, a good share of the guys' morning photos, help organize family formals, provide alternate angles of the ceremony, help with reception details and so much more. Anyone I bring with me on a wedding day will have their own wedding photography business and serious wedding experience. I have never and would never use your wedding day as a training session. They would also would qualify to cover for me in the event something happened to me and I was unable to make it. In 20 years, I have not missed a wedding, ever!

I do! I typically do consultations via a phone call, Zoom, Facetime, email exchanges, or can meet at a coffee shop prior to booking! I know you are busy making a million wedding arrangements and I am happy to accommodate whatever is easiest for you!

Personally, I have fallen in LOVE with my complete, 3-in-1 album set. I believe it is the best anyone has to offer. Why? This 3-in-1 combo product includes:

I typically promise to return your wedding photos within 6-8 weeks. Although, turn around times may vary depending on which photography season it is-- if we are in slow season, it may be quicker than that! 

YES! While I have not missed a single wedding in the last 20 years, I do have back up photographers that would cover me in the event of an emergency, if I am unable to make it. ALL back ups would be experienced wedding photographers with their own businesses and would deliver the same amount of attention and quality as I would. I understand the importance of your day and would only leave it in the hands of someone I KNOW would take care of you the way I would.

Yes! Every single image will be hand edited and adjusted by me. I edit each individual image separately and do NOT just apply a preset to them all. I pay close attention to detail on every image which is why you will notice how clean they turn out. I take the time to remove flyaway hairs, skin texture, items/distractions in the background, clothing folds, etc.

I would be honored to shoot your special day! If you are ready to book, my advice would be that you do not delay! I get inquires and bookings daily and would hate for your date to become unavailable due to a delay as I do not consider a wedding booked until the contract is signed and deposit is paid for. 
The booking process is very simple. I understand that when you are first booking everything for your wedding it can get expensive quickly. Therefore, I only require $500 to book your date. Payments are accepted through Paypal, Venmo, Zelle or you can send a check. I can take a credit card as well but there will be a 4% fee added. Once the payment is received, I will send you the contract to review and sign and once it is returned, you are booked and that date is immediately blocked off on my calendar!
